Michelle Obama shows her stuff in Flushing

The Obamas have a tight history with the sport of tennis, both playing recreationally (the First Lady picked up the sport shortly after law school) and enjoying it as spectators. First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by Flushing Meadows on Friday morning for a light hit at an indoor facility while touting her “Let’s Move” campaign to fight childhood obesity.

Now that’s some power, right there. In 2009, President Obama awarded Billie Jean King the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor.
